We are also sincerely grateful for the valuable contribution of our partner societies and colleagues who supported the conference through their collaboration and professional engagement. The Conference will offer keynote renowned speakers, hands-on workshops and networking opportunities.
Dear colleagues,
ERGONOMICS 2026, organized by the Croatian Ergonomics Society, continues a tradition of bringing together researchers, professionals, and industry representatives from Croatia and abroad. Building on previous conferences, ERGONOMICS 2026 promotes scientific excellence, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the exchange of contemporary knowledge in ergonomics and human-centered design.
The conference systematically fosters scientific and professional cooperation by presenting innovative research findings and practical solutions applicable across various sectors. It provides an excellent networking platform for scientists, engineers, health professionals, designers, and decision-makers to share ideas, establish new partnerships, and strengthen existing collaborations.
The scope of the conference covers a broad range of relevant topics in ergonomics, including occupational ergonomics and workplace design, musculoskeletal health and prevention, biomechanics, cognitive ergonomics, human–machine interaction, transport ergonomics, safety, and emerging technologies in human-centered systems.
The primary aim of ERGONOMICS 2026 is to advance innovation and sustainable development by connecting scientific research with professional practice, thereby contributing to healthier, safer, and more efficient working and living environments.
In addition to an outstanding technical programme, participants will have the opportunity to experience Dubrovnik – one of the most renowned Mediterranean cities and a globally recognized symbol of historical heritage and exceptional beauty, proudly inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
We warmly invite you to discover Dubrovnik, a city of remarkable architecture and vibrant cultural life, where historic landmarks blend harmoniously with preserved natural landscapes. We are confident that, alongside an inspiring scientific programme, you will also enjoy Croatian culture, cuisine, and genuine hospitality.
